ProtoCOL 2 - fully automatic system for counting colonies and zones of inhibition (suppression), specially designed for use in pharmaceuticals, virology and microbiology. The software ProtoCOL automatically detects colony or area and records the results for a much shorter period, compared with the same procedure manually. The program also records all the photographed information, including time / date readout for each sample.
Colonies are automatically calculated by the standard flooded, surface-grafted and spiral cups, 3M ™ Petrifilm ™, filters, culture vessels, and numerous other cultures. ProtoCOL 2 quickly counts the zone of inhibition of microbial growth, saving time with repetitive data entry, saving the results, or automatically transferring them to Excel or LIMS
