Texture analyzers TA.XTplus and TA.HDplus, laser scanner Volscan Profiler from Stable Micro Systems were presented to the visitors of the Ingredients 2010 Exhibition that took place from 23 to 26 November 2010 at the Exhibition Centre. The SIMAS company delivers, implements starting-up and adjustment and trains to work on the texture analyzers, offers warranty and post-warranty service.
Volscan Profiler – laser-based device, which is a scanner that allows to measure the volume of baked products automatically. The obtained data contains important information about the characteristics of the product. The Volscan Profiler device captures a loaf from both edges, and using the software records a variety of characteristics such as flour weight, bread type and shape. Bread is weighed automatically, and the laser measures the contours in regular intervals as a loaf rotates. Device that uses non-contact method of evaluation provides accurate results in less than 60 seconds. After finishing the test such characteristics as volume of a loaf, its length, maximum width and height, and height when width is maximum and width when height is maximum are available immediately. Based on these parameters, the device calculates the volume output of the bread automatically. You can view the results in two- or three-dimensional format, as well as compare with previous measurements. Controlled and repeated analysis not only establishes clear standards for evaluating the quality, but also ensures the accuracy of physical characteristics. |
